Tennis Court size hot pool

It may not be what you imagined, but this is the place I mentioned in my previous post, Waingaro Hot Springs. It is all naturally hot-springs fed, but it is treated so that you can swim and splash and not worry about contracting some strange diseases. There are 3 pools, one for kiddies, one for swimming and one for relaxing (that's the hottest one).

This is a quaint little place that reminds me of a scene out of the 60's or 70's. Kinda like 'Dirty Dancing' with water!

You go, girl. I can't wait to hear more about NZ. I used to live in Holland and France. Even South Carolina is a little bit foreign. Weird little things are always just different enough to command constant attention. Your life sounds so interesting!

I can imagine spending many hours enjoying the sunshine and water...

Thank you for visiting The Villages DP...

Moving from Kansas to New Zealand must have been quite an experience. My dad grew up in Marquette/Lindsborg, Kansas and I have many relatives there still.

Have a great weekend.

I heard hot springs cure a lot of ailments. It must be very healthy to swim in there. Thanks for dropping by my site.
