It seems like just yesterday that Phred came into our lives and just as quickly he is gone. Apparently, he lost an argument with a car over the rainy, dreary weekend.
This is how I will always remember him, in his favorite resting spot--just beneath my chin.
Rest in peace, my friend.

I'm so sorry Bettyl. What a sweet cat. I will be thinking of you today!
Very sorry to hear that. Hugs to you.
I am so sorry, we still feel the loss of Rocket.
It is so hard to lose a family pet. My heart goes out to you!
I'm sorry for your loss. Our neighbor's cat used to spend a lot of time at our house. He was a beige tabby. Some predator got him back around Easter Time and we miss him so much. He was like our own kitty. We still cry for him sometimes.
So sorry!
Oh, I'm so sorry :-(
Animals have a way of quickly becoming a permanent part of the family, and it's hard enough to lose them when they leave us from age. Even harder when they have an untimely death. (((((hugs)))))
Thanks you all for your wonderfully kind words. I was never really a cat person before, but I sure do miss his furry butt!
Very sorry for your loss. i happened upon your blog via the blackbox. i am an avid cat and dog lover myself. I saw a young orange tabby much like yours while I was out walking today. She was very friendly and nearly tripped me as she was winding herself around my legs,, as cats will do.
I'm so sorry Betty. It's hard to lose a pet. the picture here as well is a lovely tribute.
Sorry to hear about your loss. It is hard to lose a pet at any time, but especially hard when it is so sudden.
Oh no, so sorry to hear this.
