little things

Sometimes, Hubby brings flowers from the store; sometimes, he brings me tractors. Either way, he knows his gift will make me smile.

These are his last 2 presents from the grocery store.
The little yellow circles are round bales of hay that the baler just rolled. Hay! It's my world and my story. If I say they were just baled, they were just baled!

If you are wondering what the John Deere thing is about, click here.

It's pretty awesome how much John Deere stuff is out there. Maybe some day soon I will share our collection with you.

Collections of all sorts are such fun. There is a mailbox near our house that has a John Deere theme - painted green it has little tractors driving on it - and the flag has a small tractor - very cute.

Haha and I thought that I should be ashamed liking mini tracktors as an adult :) Alright, since I'm not alone, I'm gonna do it...buy those toys which I always look at and wanted to collect. Those caterpillars and Kamaz trucks are my fave ones :)

Dear Betty, my daughter used to drive a John Deere push-bike tractor. So you can imagine I have a soft spot for John Deere! Groetjes,

Hetty

Looks like a great gift! I've had various members of my extended family working at John Deere since the 1950s.

Well we don't have a tractor or hay baler, but we have a big John Deere lawn mower and snowblower. Popular brand around here.

I'm a Farmall girl myself, but my bro-in-law is a John Deere guy and so was my father-in-law. AND I saw a purse today at the charity shop that had tiny JD tractors embroidered on it. You would have loved it!

Haha, I read the fun story of your John Deeres. Love the Johne Deere seat. You have an interesting collection, as a farmer's daughter I'm well known with John Deere.

They look like fun collectibles.
What do you do with your collection? Do you display them or take it to shows, where other collectors' come to show their collection?

I am reminded of my childhood days, when I used to play with wind-up tractors and used to make vehicles from bobbins and thread spools (not the film spools).

Have a Beautiful Day!
Peace :)

those little tractors remind me of the toy farm I had when I was a child, with several tractors and lots of bales of hay!
