Where's autumn?

It's not like me to complain about being hot--I save it all for any cold that comes my way--so, I guess this is more of a comment than a complaint.

I wonder when autumn will actually show up.

Even though we don't do all that solstice calculating stuff, I think our dividing the calendar by months seems to do quite well. March 1st was the official first day of fall autumn but it looks like summer wasn't informed of the change.

I really don't mind, as cooler weather will get here eventually. Until then, I will enjoy the wonderful weather that includes a full moon showing up as the sun goes down on the opposite horizon.

The only really great weather is in the Spring and in the Fall, right? Otherwise it's too hot or too cold. We are looking forward to Spring in Texas.

I am pretty sure that the seasons are having an identity crisis these days, they are all jumbled up! It is still very much winter in Canada, flowers coming out in England and you are still in summer! Hee hee. We will enjoy what we have while we can though! xx

Yes we are waiting for summer to remember to go to the northern hemisphere, they are waiting and we've had enough. However, I rather like summer and the rain.
Nice shot of the moon.

I love that I took a picture of that same full moon from a totally different place. Funny, it was warming up here that night and the park was filled with dogs and walkers, celebrating the first temps above freezing in a very long time! You didn't sound like you were complaining to me!

don't mind summer hanging around. Some tomatoes sprouted by themselves, and wonder if I will have any fruits.

It is so hot over here. I bet it is hotter than New Zealand.

Awesome shot of the moon. But not enjoying the weather since yesterday - I want to see the sun again!

Sounds like you are in waiting mode like we are. It seems like all the seasons have been off in the past couple of years. Enjoy the rest of your summer weather. Fall will get there!

It is spring over here but right now we have -14 Celsius, some flurries to expect. Want some? Toronto, Canada experienced the coldest winter temperatures on record.
