Great photos. The term "first frost" always fills me with a little dread, as it foreshadows the cold to come. At least it only happened a few days before the start of Winter for you. Where I am in the US, we get our first frost mid-Fall.

frost can be breathtaking...visually and actually! At least you can now feel that you've had some proper Winter!!

We have had some cold weather here, with a couple of frosts - but I was in Indonesia, so no pictures of them!
