clydesdale war memorial hall

I know that places like this have a story, but I can find no information about Clydesdale itself.
Searches add the closest town of Tangimoana to the name.

Clydesdale is in the Manawatu-Wanganui district.

**edit* Thank you 'Just Another MK' for your comment giving us a little more
insight to this roadside bit of history.

Strange that there are no records about it!

That has happened to me before. One time I thought I posted a picture of an abandoned rail way station and someone saw it on Pinterest and told me it was actually an old abandoned ice house. Maybe someone will know what your photo is of too!

Sad there isn't any information about the hall, I am sure it was a popular place at one stage.

Went to the school that is across the road from the hall, in the 70s. The school had two classrooms and the pupils were a mixture of farming community and a Missionary training school that was in the area. The Missionary training school moved operations to Australia in the late 70s and I understand the school closed a bit after that. We used the hall for school activities.
