I never heard of customers being rated, only the service providers! And it sounds like you did nothing wrong while staying there. The rude treatment you then received from the next level up in the chain is abominable, especially the fact that they deleted your comment about them. I hope people see your blog post and don't use them. Maybe try leaving a second post to them, and mention how they deleted your first one? We have stayed in a couple of places which we thought were decidedly second rate, one which was quite dirty, and one which was clearly misrepresented. But when you leave honest feedback, not in a meanspirited way, without using provocative language, the owners of the property then leave reciprocal feedback that implies you are a whining, ungrateful client who is impossible to please, thereby impairing your ability to have others rent to you after they read those comments.David M.
