a new view

Since the tree removal in my last post, we have done a bit of tweaking in the yard garden. Hubby burned all the dried out leftovers and cut some branches. (I did help. A little) What we ended up with was something I really hadn't thought about having--a perfect view of the mountain from my living room lounge window! Since I love how the clouds accumulate around it's top, I will be taking a LOT more photos of it. I promise not to post every single one. Just the really unusual clouds.

  2. Wow - that is a stunning mountain and I can't wait to see LOTS of pictures of it - every season - all weather - all the time.

  3. Wow, the mountain looks like it should be in Japan and the farmland looks like southern England. A great combination!

  4. Wow, that is an incredible view! Our mountain view is broad and low, being in the southern Appalachians...beautiful but very different than that massive mountain. Being a tree hugger, I understand some hesitation in cutting one down, but this was definitely worth it:)

  15. What a bonus! My parents lived lake side, and when they got older they seemed to like the protection of the trees. We cut 'em down!
It's so lovely to see your green. We still knee-deep in snow.

  16. You have a really gorgeous view from your home now! Wow. We had 14 trees removed from our property line last summer. The pictures in my post were taken because I now have a view too. :) The trees were like a wall and I missed out on so much light and sky before. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week. Pamela
