Matthews Roses
In the midst of roadside corn fields and paddocks along Highway 3, a rose garden
Planting the roses at the roadside layby was public spirited by the garden company and a good place to take a break when on your travels. Wishing you a good weekend.
What a wonderful thing for a garden company to do! I love the sign that encourages drivers to stop and come in.
I just noticed your note at the bottom of this comment box. I'll have to look again at mine, but I don't think it has it there. How did you do that? I am having quite a time with anonymous comments right now too.
Roses are such beautiful flowers , at least to look at and to smell. I don't grow them because we have small grandchildren around the garden very often.
A lovely, and civic-minded gesture. I am sure that many have enjoyed visiting.
