Surprise!

A few weeks ago, I was musing about the fact that autumn was tardy in our neck of the woods.
Overnight, we went from a snow-dusted mountain to a snow-covered mountaintop.

It usually takes a while, little by little, to turn the mountaintop white, but I guess winter is getting in an early jab. Fortunately, the cold isn't expected to last very long. I hope not, because I'm not quite ready for winter. I have some autumn gardening to do yet!

What a beautiful shot of the mountain with the roses in the foreground as well. Hope you can still enjoy some of the autumn weather as we enjoy the Spring.

Beautiful view and so unusual to us, a snowy mountain on the background and flowers in the front.

That sure was some dumping of snow. The mountain looks so different from when I was there a few weeks ago - although I still thought it was beautiful!! You are so lucky to live with such a great view. Good luck with the gardening.
