the ramblings of a woman who was transported from her comfort zone in the US Midwest to a different country and culture that shouldn't be so different, but is.
When I showed you the John Deere tractor and baler that Hubby brought home a few weeks ago, you wanted to see the rest of my collection. Well, here it is!
Hi, Betty...my dad and brother are International Harvestor folks, so I didn't save any John Deere stuff. However, we do have lots of the IH tractors and equipment from my hubby's childhood.
I stopped to see a friend yesterday who is a John Deere collector. I've never seen so many green tractors in one stop before. Tom The Backroads Traveller
Everything is so cute - I especially like the autumn scene. There is a mailbox in our city that has John Deere tractors all over it - even the flag for outgoing mail has one.
Your John Deere collection made me curious, so I went back and read your bio again. Quite the story! Glad you have adjusted so well. Your photos do make me want to see New Zealand someday...my bucket list is growing...we better get going!

Those are quite some collectibles.

Very cute collection :-)
Did John Deere make planes? I'm a Farmall girl myself but I can always appreciate a pretty tractor!
A great collection. I remember my Dad preferring John Deer machinery. I never knew they had collector's items. Always learning from blogging.

I saw a lot of real farm equipment in Hamilton.
