I don't believe in 'coincidences' and I thought it would be a nice celebration for my 300th post and a great way to start the new year--by giving to someone else for no particular reason--so I am

Pay it forward 2011: I promise to send something handmade to the first 3 people who leave a comment here.
To be eligible, you must also post this in your blog, offering the same thing to 3 other people.
The rules are that it must be handmade by you and it must be sent to your 3 people *sometime* in 2011. A target date is suggested to keep everybody on the same page.
I think that May 1st is a reasonable date for me to set because I haven't done anything handmade in quite a while!
Thanks you, Lungos!!

As of 15Jan, I have no takers *sniffle, sniffle* So please feel free to comment if you'd like a unique New Zealand gift!!

I'm going to try that also. Sounds like a wonderful idea, although I haven't made anything lately either. Thanks for the idea. I will check out The Lungos blog also.
Sounds like a great idea...Good Luck!
It will be quite a challenge for those of us who aren't crafty! Our efforts might well end up in the recipient's bin!!!
Hugs,

PS: I'm not ready to be this challenged yet!!! So, not participating this time, but definitely watching with interest to see how it turns out for you :)
Just came back, as I realised I'd forgotten to say CONGRATS on your 300th POST!!!! WOW!!!! I've only reached 33 (been going since 18th November 2010) - 300, now THAT'S a challenge!!!
Have a GREAT day!
Thank you for visiting me via the hop.

What a nice gesture.
A great idea to be grateful and to show that thanks by extending it to others for the New Year.
Well, the only help I can give you is a tissue for your sniffles, lol. I was going to take you up on this, but I am a blank when it comes to my gifts to give. My post is sitting there waiting to be published, but I think it will be sitting there for a while. I checked back with yours a few times, and I'm beginning to see that the 'make the gift yourself' is stopping people...or I hope that is all it is. I am thinking on this and when I do mine, I might change the rules a little. Still mulling it over. Would be nice if you had even just one taker.
Thanks for your honesty, Clipped Wings! You are probably right about the gift making--I only plan to decoupage a picture.
