the ramblings of a mad woman who was transported from her comfort zone in the US Midwest to a different country and culture that shouldn't be so different, but it is.
A lovely, and civic-minded gesture. I am sure that many have enjoyed visiting.
Beautiful rose garden shots! Happy Day to you,A ShutterBug Explores, aka (A Creative Harbor)
Wow that would be a suprise driving along, wonderful place to stop for a break.
Planting the roses at the roadside layby was public spirited by the garden company and a good place to take a break when on your travels. Wishing you a good weekend.

SNAP! The blog "Photographing NZ"" also had a photo of this. It looks beautiful .

What a wonderful thing for a garden company to do! I love the sign that encourages drivers to stop and come in.I just noticed your note at the bottom of this comment box. I'll have to look again at mine, but I don't think it has it there. How did you do that? I am having quite a time with anonymous comments right now too.
What a great place to stop and smell the roses 🌹.I can smell them from here.
Roses are such beautiful flowers , at least to look at and to smell. I don't grow them because we have small grandchildren around the garden very often.
