the ramblings of a mad woman who was transported from her comfort zone in the US Midwest to a different country and culture that shouldn't be so different, but it is.
I like your signs collection. I recently saw one saying "no dumping of anything" close to a outdoor restroom. The exclamation mark one is great! This is the first time I visit this blog and I really enjoyed your work - great observations.
That's a nice sign line !
HAHA!! a doing sign!! I love it!! I also really like the goats...theyre so cute!
I love the 'doing!' sign! I want one!
Hi Betty1 Nice post! Love the sign pics.I remember when I was in Holland and saw a sign in English and Dutch. The English said "Do no run your motor when parking your car". Pretty hard to do. I guess you have to just push it into the parking space! Just didn't come out the same in the translation.
Yeah - I'm a sucker for the Doing-sign, too. I can think of a number of places in my life where there should be one of those :)
Hi Betty, Interesting New Zealand signs.... I enjoyed reading them all.. The one about the electric tape is interesting... Wooooo!Hugs,Betsy
I want the exclamation point sign! (Although I have no idea what I'd do with it!)And I see the Jesus rock as being symbolic that Jesus actually does rock!
Wow! I love all the different signs! But what a shame that dogs are not allowed on the beach...
I've lived vicariously through your photos. Thanks for sharing.
