the first day of winter

Today may be the official first day of winter but the scene below that I took yesterday doesn't hold a clue. I have to say that, even without central heating, I prefer winter here in New Zealand than in Kansas.

That is beautiful! And I'm with you on the better the winter there than in Kansas...or most any place I've lived in the States. :O)

It's difficult to imagine that winter is starting down under, when in fact summer is at the brink here. Stay safe in the coming winter months!

Wow! What a beautiful, green place! If that's winter, I'll take it!

This is amazing....this particular shot reminds me a bit of a spot in Oregon...except it appears to be greener in NZ.

It sure doesn't look like winter. Gorgeous view! I'm not posting today, so no need to check my blog. I'm playing catch up on comments since I've been way too busy this week.
