There is a NZ-American Association!? So, are there lots of Americans in NZ? That's a nice memorial but a sad one. I guess many of them never got to return home to their families. I hope the world never experiences another such war.

A nice tribute. Its sad how many young men lost their lives or were mentally and physically damaged.
That's a nice thing to do because in war we are all joined as we fight together.
Wow! I learned something today. I lost an uncle in WWII in the Marshall Islands.

I can remember my Mum and Dad talking about the American based around Auckland in WW2.
