the ramblings of a woman who was transported from her comfort zone in the US Midwest to a different country and culture that shouldn't be so different, but is.
I'm presuming it is still in use?? There used to be a similar place in Tauranga, just off Willow Street where young mums could go and breastfeed or change their babies. The loos were always clean. My favourite rest room. I wonder if that is still there

And in 2019, I think, refurbished by the council
Wonderful those places are kept up, I remember the one in Tauranga.
Looks so different from our's.
The Te Kuiti one is now repurposed, but I do remember it well - and the Taihape one, also now repurposed.
Stay safe

Its good to see it has been kept in good condition.
That is very nice building and looks in good shape.
The customs have probably changed, but it is commendable that the building has been preserved. It is a landmark reminiscent of other times.
